Augmented Character Playground was a workshop I created for the Pictoplasma Festival ’18.
The attendees were invited to create a small character using wooden shapes, papers and drawings; 3D scan it and place it on a “Pi stage” in augmented reality. We had a very nice moment working together and quite a beautiful collection of characters at the end.
Plus, a lot of people got to face their fear of new technology and tried to do something different; which for me is the most powerful experience my workshops can bring. Overcoming our self imposed limitations is key to unleashing the creative forces that live inside each of us.
